Experienced Eye Care Professionals

Our team of four full-time optometrists is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye exams, clear communication, and exceptional care to each and every one of our patients. We understand that finding a knowledgeable and experienced eye doctor can be tricky, which is why we go above and beyond to meet your eye care needs.

Dr. Mitchell N. Broussard, a Louisiana native, has been practicing optometry for over 24 years. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometry Association of Louisiana, and he is committed to providing the best eye care possible to the underprivileged in the community.

Dr. Cathy M. Guidry, a native of Lafayette, LA, grew up in Houston, Texas. She is a member of the Louisiana State Association and the American Optometric Association and is certified to diagnose and treat eye diseases. Dr. Guidry is an active supporter of the OneSight program, where she donates her time giving free eye exams to needy patients.

Dr. Joseph A. Atkins, originally from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has been practicing optometry at Today's Eyecare since 2005. He is a member of the AOA and Optometry Association of Louisiana and offers care and aid to many organizations, including St. Bernedette's Clinic and the OneSight program. Dr. Atkins is also the eye doctor for the U.L. baseball team.

Dr. Crystal Gustin, a native of Lafayette, LA, is a member of the American Optometric Association and Optometric Association of Louisiana. She served as president of the Acadiana Optometric Society from 2011 to 2014 and received the 2018 Young OD of the year award for the state of Louisiana. Dr. Gustin is committed to providing eye care for under-served areas in Louisiana through the OneSight program and St. Bernadette's Clinic.
