Emergency Department
Our 24/7 Emergency Department features state-of-the-art equipment including a Stroke Robot connecting to neurologists at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. With 18 patient care spaces, specialized rooms, and board-certified emergency physicians, we handle all medical emergencies. The department maintains immediate access to orthopedic specialists and critical care resources for Vermilion Parish residents.
Cancer Center
The newly renovated Cancer Center offers chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, and biologic therapy in a ten-chair infusion facility. Staffed by hematologist/oncologist Dr. Kennedy Iheanacho and experienced nurses, the center provides personalized treatment plans with free Wi-Fi and comprehensive patient support services in Abbeville.
Imaging Services
Our Joint Commission-accredited Imaging Center provides 3D mammography, bone density scans, and ultrasound services. The facility maintains American College of Radiology accreditation for breast imaging and offers convenient scheduling options for early disease detection and diagnostic accuracy.
Behavioral Medicine
The 16-bed Behavioral Medicine Center partners with Compass Health to deliver structured mental health treatment for adults. Our team includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and specialized nursing staff providing individual counseling, group therapy, and family support programs in a dedicated inpatient unit.
Anesthesia Services
Board-certified anesthesiologists and CRNAs provide 24/7 anesthesia care across all hospital departments.
