About Us

Our clinic, Cirino Eye Center, is led by Dr. Anthony J. Cirino, a board-certified ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon with over 25 years of experience. He is a native of Northeast Ohio and a proud first-generation American, born to parents from Italy and Greece. Dr. Cirino graduated from John Carroll University in 1994 and obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Missouri in 1998. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, where he served as chief resident in his final year.

Dr. Cirino stays up to date with the latest advancements in his field, holding memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Ohio Ophthalmological Society. He has been recognized for his outstanding service, appearing in Cleveland Magazine's list of Best Ophthalmologists from 2018-2020 and in Akron Life Magazine from 2017-2020. He has also received the Patient Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Recognition multiple times.

Our team at Cirino Eye Center is dedicated to providing the best possible care for our patients. We have a team of skilled professionals, including Jennifer B., who serves as the Office Manager and Ophthalmic Technician, Jenny M., who is an Ophthalmic Technician, and front desk staff, including Jen C. and Marta H. We are here to help you with any questions or concerns you may have.

We offer a wide range of services, including cataract surgery, eye exams, and treatment for cataracts, floaters, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma, dry eye, and red eyes. We accept most major insurances and kindly ask you to call the office if you have any questions or concerns.

Our clinic is equipped with the latest technology to provide the highest quality of care for our patients. We have an office gallery where you can view before and after photos of our patients' successful treatments.
