Who We Are

At Mercy & Truth Healthcare Ministry, we are a nonprofit 501c(3) Federally Qualified Health Center Look-alike organization dedicated to providing transformational, compassionate, Christian care to individuals around the world. Our mission is to restore bodies, renew minds, and refresh souls through healthcare and the Gospel.

Mission and Values

Our mission is to provide healthcare services to those in need, both locally and internationally. We believe that every individual deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their financial situation or insurance status. We strive to demonstrate the love of Christ through the provision of healthcare services, alleviating suffering, and promoting health and wellness.

Services

We offer a range of healthcare services at our clinics in Kansas City and Shawnee, including:

• Primary Care Services: Our primary care physicians provide comprehensive medical care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and disease management.
• Medical Missions: We have sent over 75 medical teams to over 50 countries, providing medical care to those in need.
• Specialty Care: We offer specialized care in various fields, including internal medicine, pediatrics, and family medicine.

International Missions

Our international medical missions have taken us to over 50 countries, including Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico. We provide medical care to those in need, while sharing the love of Christ.

Community Engagement

At Mercy & Truth, we believe in the importance of community engagement and outreach. We partner with local organizations and churches to provide healthcare services to underserved populations.

Our Board of Directors consists of experienced professionals who share our vision and mission. Our team of medical professionals is committed to providing high-quality care to our patients.

Statement of Faith

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that the Bible is the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that man, in his natural state, is a sinner, lost, undone, without hope, and without God.

History

Mercy & Truth Medical Missions began in 1995, shortly after Cathy Gordon returned from a missions trip overseas. She soon realized that there were many poor and underserved in her own backyard. Wanting to show God's love through healthcare to the underserved, Cathy started Mercy and Truth, first to meet needs internationally and then with local.
