Our History

Baptist Health South Florida was founded in 1955 when the Rev. Dr. James A. Moller, a Baptist minister, opened the first hospital in Homestead, Florida. Since then, we have expanded to include 11 hospitals and numerous outpatient facilities, providing a range of services to our patients. Our commitment to quality care and patient safety has earned us numerous accolades and recognition from various organizations.
