At Sierra Care, our mission is to deliver individualized subacute care and rehabilitation to people facing serious injuries and complex medical conditions. We operate a 24-hour congregate living health facility in California, providing dedicated nursing services and recuperative treatments for patients with spinal cord injuries (SCI), traumatic brain injuries (TBI), neuromuscular conditions, congenital conditions, and other medically complex injuries. Our medical services are guided by physicians experienced in critical care, catastrophic injuries, and rehabilitation medicine. Supporting them is a multidisciplinary patient care team whose specialties encompass neuropsychology, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, social work, activities coordination, and registered dietetics. This collaborative approach enables us to address individual treatment needs while delivering the daily medical attention and rehabilitation support required for meaningful recovery.
Our commitment extends beyond meeting physical and clinical needs. We work diligently to create a reassuring, emotionally nurturing atmosphere where patients feel understood and supported during challenging periods. Each member of our staff is chosen for exceptional qualifications, practical experience, professional skill, and a sincere desire to help others. We regard every patient as a member of the Sierra Care family and emphasize compassion alongside high-quality medical care. Located in the picturesque lakeside surroundings of Tulare County's Central Valley foothills, our fully remodeled facility provides a peaceful, comfortable place to live during treatment. Modern conveniences complement the natural tranquility of the property, creating a welcoming home-away-from-home. By integrating specialized healthcare, coordinated rehabilitation, attentive nursing, and emotional support, we seek to establish the conditions that best encourage healing and recovery.
