Our History

Our story began in 2005 when our founder, Dr. Charles J. Turner, OD, first opened the doors to Daniel Island Eye Care. With a passion for pediatric vision care and contact lenses, Dr. Turner brought a unique approach to eye care to the area. Since then, our practice has grown to serve patients of all ages and stages, from children to seniors, and everyone in between. Our commitment to quality care and patient satisfaction has earned us the trust of the local community.

• Dr. Baley Petersen, OD: Our second optometrist, Dr. Petersen brings a unique blend of experience and expertise to our practice.
• Dr. Jean Silecchia, OD: Dr. Silecchia joins our team with a strong background in optometry and a passion for patient care.
