Mission and History
The Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the health and welfare of all infants, children, and adolescents in the State of Georgia. Our mission statement outlines our purpose: To improve the health and welfare of all the infants, children and adolescents in the State of Georgia. We achieve this by staying at the forefront of scientific research, education, and policy making. Over the years, we have been committed to securing and maintaining the highest standards of practice in pediatrics.
